April 10, 2013
Former Commodore All-American Brandt Snedeker will tee off at The Masters on Thursday morning at 8:17 a.m. Central time in the PGA Tour's first major of the season. Snedeker, the 2012 FedExCup Champion, is paired with Ryo Ishikawa of Japan and Justin Rose of England.
Thursday will be the Nashville native's sixth Masters of his career. He played as an amateur in 2004, and then as a professional in 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2012, with his best finish coming in 2008, when he finished in a tie for third.
Snedeker has had a solid start to the 2013 campaign and is currently second in the FedExCup standings behind Tiger Woods. Earlier this season, he won the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and finished second at the Farmers Insurance Open and the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
