The Vanderbilt men's golf team heads west on I-40 this Monday and Tuesday to play in the Memphis Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,249-yard Colonial Country Club South Course in Cordova, Tenn.  

"We are excited to compete this week on a great golf course in Memphis," said Vanderbilt head coach Scott Limbaugh.  "We had a good focused week of practice at home and the guys are looking forward to playing."

The Commodores will send Hunter Stewart, Charlie Ewing, Ben Fogler, Mills Rendell, and Jordan Janico for their starting five.  John Voetsch will compete as an individual.

Vanderbilt will be joined by Texas Tech, Ball State, South Alabama, host Memphis, Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Cincinnati, Cleveland State, DePaul, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisville, Middle Tennessee, UMKC, Southern Miss and Western Kentucky.

The tournament will begin Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. (CT) on the par 72, 7,249-yard course for the first 36 holes. The final round will begin Tuesday morning as golfers will tee off at holes 1 and 10 at 8 a.m.
