Hofmann continues to impress at Prestige

After shooting a five-under par 67 in the opening round of The Prestige at PGA West on Sunday, senior Adam Hofmann carded a two-under par 70 on Monday and is in fifth place individually at the event after two rounds. As a team, the Commodores shot a two-over par 290 on Monday and are in 10th place with a two-day total of 578 (290-288). Hofmann had four birdies, including three on his last three holes s at the Norman Course at PGA West, but suffered a double-bogey on the 13th hole to come in at 70 for the day. Spencer Fletcher of Arizona State and Eugene Wong of Oregon are at 10-under par for the tournament and lead the individual leaderboard. Fellow senior Trey DelGreco shot an even-par 72 on Monday and is in a tie for 21st. The Commodores also counted a 73 from freshman Hunter Stewart and a 75 from sophomore Mills Rendell. Sophomore Charlie Ewing fired a second-round 76 on Monday. Oregon leads The Prestige with a total score of 24-under par 552. The Ducks lead second-place Washington by five strokes. The final round of the tournament concludes Tuesday morning with fixed tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. Pacific time off of #1 and #10 tees. 10. Vanderbilt – 288-290=578
