MG finishes 5th at Mobile Bay

Adam Hofmann leads `Dores with a three-round score of 218 (74-75-69), finishes in a tie for sixth.

Junior Adam Hofmann fired a final-round 69 on Tuesday to shoot to a tie for sixth place on the individual leaderboard at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate in Mobile, Ala. As a team, the Commodores finished in fifth place with at team total of 881 (293-299-289).

Hofmann's sixth place finish is his fourth top 10 finish of the 2010-11 campaign - Hofmann finished in a tie for 10th at the Invitational at the Ocean Course, tied for fourth at the Mason Rudolph, and won medalist honors at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate in November.

Middle Tennessee State won the team championship with a final total of 863 (292-289-282). The Blue Raiders' Jason Millard set a new course record on Tuesday with a final-round 63 in route to a 205 (70-72-63).
