High School A two-sport star at New Trier, Rendell was an all-state honoree in both golf and ice hockey. On the course, Rendell was a two-year captain of the New Trier golf team and earned 2009 North Shore Player of the Year honorees. He finished fifth at the state high school championship to lead the Trevians to a runner-up result...Rendell's golf resume boasts several Top 15's in American Junior Golf Association events, including a ninth-place finish at the John Deere Classic Junior All-Star...On the ice, Rendell was a co-captain of the 2010 USA Hockey High School National Tournament champions.
