Played in four tournaments and 11 rounds, and posted a 77.27 stroke average...Lowest round of the season came in opening round of the Mason Rudolph Championship, when he carded a 69.

Played for nearby Hendersonville High School, where his Commandos team claimed the state championship in 2010 and 11, finished runner-up in 2009, and in third in 2008...Was District and Region champs from 2008-11...Individually, he was a two-time County Player of the Year (2010, 2011) and district champion in 2010...First-team Mid-State honoree in 2010 and 2011...Was a NHSGCA All-American in 2008, and won the TSSAA Academic Award from 2008-11...Claimed the Gretchen Warner Award in 2011...Finished third at the 2011 Tennessee State high school championship... A member of the National Honor Society, Jacobs had a stellar summer of 2011 on the junior circuit, finishing third at The Wally, fourth at the AJGA Huntsville Junior and the Tennessee State Open, and 15th at the Bubba Conlee in Memphis.
