Thornton, Snipes sign with Men's Golf

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Ryan Thornton of Chattanooga and Will Snipes of Dalton, Ga., each have signed a National Letter of Intent to enroll at Vanderbilt University and compete for the men's golf team, Head Coach Tom Shaw announced Wednesday.

Senior Jon Curran led the Commodores on Saturday, carding a two-under 70 that included an eagle on the par-5 14th hole. At two-under for the tournament, Curran (76-70--146) stands in 18th place heading into Sunday's final round.
