Casey Hayward and the Packers have moved a game ahead of Jay Cutler, Earl Bennett, D.J. Moore and the Bears in the NFC North ahead of next weeks big showdown between the rivals. All that and more in's Week 14 NFL Update.

Green Bay 27, Detroit 20 - recap
Casey Hayward and the Packers took control of the NFC North with a 27-20 win over the Lions.

Hayward made four tackles and broke up two passes in the win that gives Green Bay a one-game lead over the Bears.

Fellow Commodore Sean Richardson was inactive for the green and gold.

Minnesota 21, Chicago 14 - Recap
The Bears fell behind early and could not complete the comeback, falling to the Vikings, 21-14, and falling a game behind the Packers in the NFC North.

Cutler was 22-44 passing for 260 yards. He threw for one touchdown, while throwing two interceptions. His Vanderbilt target, Earl Bennett, was inactive.

Defensively, D.J. Moore saw action at corner, but did not record a tackle.

Philadelphia 23, Tampa Bay 21 - Recap
Myron Lewis made a special teams tackle in a 23-21 loss to the Eagles.

St. Louis 15, Buffalo 12 - Recap
Thomas Welch saw his first action as a member of the Buffalo Bills, playing offensive tackle in a tough loss to St. Louis.

Vanderbilt's Chris Williams was inactive for the Rams.

Other Notes
Tim Fugger remains a member of Arizona's practice squad.

Tight end Brandon Barden remains on the practice squad for the Titans.
