"Destiny is in front of you."
James Franklin stands on a stool in the visitor's locker room at Wake Forest. He's holding a box score with notes scribbled on the back of it.

Franklin rattles off a list of accomplishments achieved by his 2012 Vanderbilt squad following their eighth win of the season, a 55-21 pounding of the Demon Deacons.
Team honors are mentioned. Individual honors. You name it. The list is long, but necessary.
"Guys, the reason we're having success is because everybody puts the team first. It's as good as I've ever seen," Franklin tells his team. "These things come as a result of all the hard work that you guys have put in."
When you start talking about records set for the first time since 1982, since 1948, since 1915, or for the first time ever in school history, it warrants reflection.
Cheers and roars follow every accolade. But as Franklin cautions, the work isn't over.
"I'm so proud of every single person in this room. But we're not done. We're not done."
