VU to celebrate breast cancer awareness

Commodores host UMass for homecoming at 6 p.m. Saturday

On Saturday, fans will see a slight addition to the uniforms of the Vanderbilt football team, marching band and cheerleaders. Each of these groups will incorporate the color pink in their uniforms at Saturday's game against UMass in recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In addition to the uniform alterations, Vanderbilt will also incorporate some additional elements into their game presentation in recognition of breast cancer awareness.

Saturday will also serve as homecoming for the Commodores and will feature a halftime presentation recognizing the Vanderbilt Outstanding Seniors as well as efforts by the Vanderbilt Alumni Association.

Tickets for the game on Saturday are $35 and can be purchased online or by calling the Vanderbilt Ticket Office at 615-322-GOLD (4653).

Fireworks Postgame
Vanderbilt will have a postgame fireworks show for fans following Saturday's game.
