NFL's bag policy in effect for Saturday's Ole Miss game
Sept. 1, 2014
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Fans attending Saturday's game against Ole Miss at LP Field (3:30 p.m.) should be aware that the NFL Bag Policy will be in effect.
The policy is in place at all NFL venues and it limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into the stadiums.
Fans are encouraged not to bring any type of bags to the game. However, if bags are brought into the stadium, they must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12." One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bag or similar) are permitted. Additionally, a small, one compartment, clutch bag that does not exceed 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap, can be brought in.
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
All bags are subject to inspection before entry.
In order to expedite the process of entering LP Field, fans are asked to leave all unnecessary items in their vehicle or at home and to have any items open for search before you approach a gate.
Pockets should be emptied before proceeding through security, and all impermissible items must be returned to your vehicle or discarded.
