Vanderbilt Athletics, in conjunction with its new flagship radio station for Commodore football, NewsRadio 1510 WLAC, is introducing a special "Fan Zone" season ticket offer to Middle Tennessee families.
The WLAC Fan Zone extends end zone pricing into an upper portion of Section H in Vanderbilt Stadium that accommodates approximately 400 fans. Season tickets in the WLAC Fan Zone are $126 each.
Without the NewsRadio 1510 WLAC Fan Zone, Commodore officials said only isolated single-seat tickets remain available in five other end zone sections of Vanderbilt's Stadium.
"We are delighted that NewsRadio 1510 WLAC wants more fans to cheer for the Commodores at the end-zone price point," Director of Sales and Marketing Steve Walsh said. "It speaks volumes to the commitment by WLAC and Clear Channel to make this a successful flagship arrangement for everyone."
Season tickets for some of the best sideline seats in Vanderbilt Stadium, including between the 20-yard lines, also remain available as the Commodores prepare to host their important opener against Southeastern Conference East Division rival South Carolina on August 30.
Vanderbilt Athletics is also selling single-game tickets to the South Carolina encounter. The single-game ticket costs $50 each.
Besides South Carolina, the Vanderbilt home schedule includes SEC teams Florida on Oct. 13, Auburn on Oct. 20 and Tennessee on Nov. 17. The Commodores also host two non-SEC teams: Presbyterian on Sept. 15 and Massachusetts on Oct. 27.
