In continuing to make connections with Nashvillians and the Vanderbilt fan base, Head Coach James Franklin invited fans to join him for an impromptu lunch Tuesday at Corner Pub Midtown. Photo Gallery

Before, during and after his meal, Franklin spent time mingling with longtime fans, introducing himself to others, signing autographs and posing for pictures with folks who stopped by.

Franklin's lunch with fans comes just days before the commencement of football practice on Friday. It was also his latest of numerous endeavors he has attended in the past week. Last week alone, Franklin spent a day on ESPN's campus, attended a social event at Ruth's Chris, delivered a speech to the Columbia Kiwanis Club, made a guest appearance at 104.5 The Zone's roast of Clay Travis and surprised a group of fans during a locker room tour.
