Bristol, Conn. – Vanderbilt Head Coach Derek Mason will help kickoff ESPN's annual mid-summer college football coaches' "Car Wash" by making appearances on several ESPN programs Monday.

Mason, coming off consecutive Pac-12 titles and back-to-back Rose Bowl appearances while serving as Stanford's Director of Defense, will discuss his first Vanderbilt squad and the upcoming season on numerous ESPN programs, including SportsCenter, College Gameday, College Football Live (CFB Live) and ESPNU.

Starting Monday, the "Car Wash" calls for 63 head coaches – from teams in the Southeastern Conference, Big 12, Pac-12, Atlantic Coast Conference and Big Ten – to conduct a mixture of interviews with more than 25 different shots and writers across ESPN's television, radio and digital medial platforms.

All interviews are staged at ESPN's Connecticut headquarters. Most of Mason's television appearances will be taped to air later on ESPN programming. The SportsCenter segment is expected to air Monday.

ESPN's "Car Wash" focuses on Southeastern Conference teams Monday and Tuesday. Other SEC coaches expected to join Mason on Monday are Hugh Freeze of Ole Miss, Gus Malzahn of Auburn, Les Miles of LSU, Gary Pinkel of Missouri, Mark Richt of Georgia and Mark Stoops of Kentucky.
