The start of football season is nearly here. This week, representatives from all 14 Southeastern Conference football programs converge on Birmingham, Ala., for the league's annual SEC Media Days.

The three-day media event begins Tuesday and runs through Thursday. Vanderbilt's contingent of Head Coach James Franklin, defensive back Andre Hal, offensive tackle Wesley Johnson and wide receiver Jordan Matthews are scheduled to appear Thursday afternoon.

SEC Media Days also marks the annual release of Vanderbilt's football fact book - a media resource that contains program records, history, statistics, biographical sketches and more.

The 2013 Vanderbilt Football Fact Book is now available to be viewed online. The publication includes a season preview, biographical sketches of players and staff, a review of 2012, all-time records and program history.

Note that unlike the printed version of the fact book that is printed in black and white, per NCAA rules, the online version includes color images.

New images of Vanderbilt's players in the NFL can be viewed on pages 8-9.
