Head Coach James Franklin spoke with assembled media following Thursday's practice at the John Rich Practice Complex. Franklin's Commodores are two-thirds of the way through their first set of spring drills, which will culminate with the Black & Gold Game at Vanderbilt Stadium on Sunday, April 17 at 6 p.m. CT.

Events that day, including Vandyville and a player autograph session, will begin at 3 p.m., and a fireworks show is scheduled to follow the game. Admission is free, and fans are encouraged to bring a children's book to donate to the Books from Birth program.

Only 11 days remain for Commodore fans to secure their 2011 season tickets at 2010 price points. Early-bird prices are available from the Vanderbilt Ticket Office through April 18, the day after the Black & Gold game.
