Vanderbilt-Ole Miss game FAQ

April 3, 2014

NFL Stadium Bag Policy

Why are we playing at LP Field?
By moving one of our premiere SEC games downtown, we will give Vanderbilt fans a chance to enjoy the atmosphere downtown in a manner similar to what we have seen in our recent appearance at the Music City Bowl. This game provides a great opportunity to showcase all that Nashville has to offer as a city for fans of both teams. With eight home games on the schedule, the 2014 season offered the ideal opportunity to move a game to LP Field.

Why was the location change for the game just now released?
Vanderbilt officials have been working with representatives from LP Field and the Titans on bringing a game downtown and the timing worked for the schedule for the game to happen this coming season.

Why not play the UT game there?
The Vanderbilt - Ole Miss match-up has developed into a great rivalry over the past few years and the timing with LP Field worked out well for that match-up to be moved downtown.
