It was a whirlwind of a few weeks for Vanderbilt's coaching staff under the direction of Derek Mason. As they were hired, coaches hit the recruiting trail, crisscrossing the country in search of the newest Commodores.

When the dust settled on Wednesday, Vanderbilt had inked 22 to National Letters of Intent. The class included 11 defensive players, 10 offensive players and one specialist. After the last signee was in, Vanderbilt's Joe Fisher had an opportunity to discuss the class with defensive coordinator David Kotulski.
