National Signing Day Central

Vanderbilt Athletics hosted a National Signing Day reception Wednesday evening to introduce head coach James Franklin, his coaching staff and the Commodores' Class of 2011 football commitments. John Russell captured images of the party – Photo Gallery.

Also, the packed crowd threw an impromptu 39th birthday party for Vanderbilt’s new gridiron coach. Franklin was surprised with a cake, balloons and a rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Watch the video below:
