Franklin to appear as featured guest Monday on ESPN's BCS Coverage

PASADENA, Calif. - Vanderbilt Head Coach James Franklin will share the ESPN SportsCenter stage with host Rece Davis, college football analyst Todd Blackledge and 2007 Heisman Trophy recipient Tim Tebow at 11 a.m. CT Monday in the first of several guest appearances during the network's 15-hour BCS National Championship production from the Rose Bowl.

Franklin is scheduled to appear on multiple ESPN-affiliated programs Monday from Pasadena, including ESPN's College Football Live and ESPNU BCS Countdown. The Commodore coach also will make an appearance on ESPN's main Rose Bowl set during the third quarter of the game between No. 1 Florida State and No. 2 Auburn.

Franklin just finished off a second consecutive 9-4 campaign for the Commodores with a 41-24 victory over Houston in the BBVA Compass Bowl Saturday in Birmingham. It marked the first time in program history for Vanderbilt to register back-to-back 9-win seasons.

Franklin and Alabama's Nick Saban are the only current college head coaches participating in ESPN's gameday BCS coverage.

11 a.m. - SportsCenter
Franklin joins Davis, Blackledge and Tebow from the Rose Bowl

Noon - SportsCenter
Franklin joins "Talkback" segment with Blackledge, ESPN host John Saunders, and College GameDay's David Pollack and Samantha Ponder

2-2:45 p.m. - College Football Live
Franklin spends an hour on-set outside the Rose Bowl discussing the game with College Football Live host Davis and analysts Mark May and Lou Holtz.

3-5 p.m. - ESPNU BCS Countdown
Franklin and ESPN analyst Jesse Palmer talk in depth about the Florida State-Auburn matchup on ESPNU's BCS Countdown to kickoff program.

7:30 p.m. - BCS National Championship kickoff on ESPN

3rd Quarter - ESPN
Franklin joins Pollack and two of the nation's top quarterbacks, Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel and Clemson's Tajh Boyd, to discuss the action from ESPN's Rose Bowl mega set.
