A favorite of teammates, Ellis enjoyed his best as a fourth-year contributor... The walk-on appeared in 11 of 12 games, participating in a key reserve at wide receiver... He ended his first career start at home against Alabama... Concluded the season with five catches, good for 70 yards and a touchdown... Registered one of the team's top offensive plays, hauling in a deflected pass from Kyle Shurmur for a 31-yard touchdown in Commodores' victory over Western Kentucky... Also posted receptions against Middle Tennessee, Alabama A&M, Georgia and Kentucky.

Injuries slowed Ellis during his third season... The wide receiver/punt returner did not see action for the first time in his career after suffering a leg injury early in the campaign... Despite playing at less than 100 percent, Ellis contributed on offensive scout teams.

A second-year contributor, Ellis played in all 12 games, seeing action as a punt returner and wide receiver... Averaged 5.5 yards on four punt returns... Posted 19-yard gain on a rushing attempt at Tennessee.

A walk-on prospect, Ellis served as team's primary punt returner in his first year on campus... Had two key returns vs. UMass totaling 24 yards... Averaged 5.4 yards on nine returns.
