2014 Injuries hindered Robinette's third year on campus... The team's opening-game starter missed six games due to various injuries, paving the way for three other quarterback prospects - Johnny McCrary, Stephen Rivers and Wade Freebeck - to get playing time at the position... Robinette saw action in six games, earning starts against Temple and South Carolina... In both starts, Robinette was left the game prematurely... Concluded the season hitting 64 of 67 passes (64.2 percent) for 454 yards and three touchdowns... Guided Commodores to win over UMass after relieving Freebeck, completing 15 of 20 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown... In next game, helped 'Dores to 14-0 early lead over South Carolina before exiting with injury... Returned late in the year to complete 20 of 35 passes for 214 yards in action against Florida, Miss. State and Tennessee... Totaled 63 rushing yards on 29 carries... Nominated for postseason John Wooden Citizenship Award.
2013 Saw action in 10 games as redshirt freshman quarterback, earning starts in the BBVA Compass Bowl and against SEC opponents Texas A&M and Florida... In first substantial role of career, helped guide Vanderbilt to a come-from-behind win over nationally ranked Georgia... In second start, directed Commodores to their first victory at Florida since the 1940s... Also scored the deciding touchdown in win at Tennessee with a 5-yard rush coming with seconds left on clock... Finished the regular season completing 46-of-88 passes for 642 yards and 4 TDs... Proved effective as rusher, gaining 214 yards and scoring seven TDs on 73 carries... Threw for 154 yards and connected with Jordan Matthews for pair of first-half TDs in team's bowl victory over Houston... Also tallied 8-yard rushing TD in the bowl win... Inserted into the lineup vs. Georgia, Robinette was 9-15 for 107 yards, directing 'Dores to 17 fourth quarter points in victory... Threw for career-high 216 yards at Texas A&M... Showed excellent maturity managing game plan to perfection in win over Florida... Had rushing TDs in five of last six games.
2012 Robinette has not played as a true freshman, but has traveled with the team to road games and dressed throughout the year... Has shown plenty of promise as an effective scout team quarterback.
Spring Drills 2012 Enrolled at Vanderbilt in January... Showed plenty of talent as Team Gold quarterback during Black & Gold Spring Game.
High School Senior captain... Two-year starting QB for one of top Tennessee programs... As senior, hit 114 of 160 passes (71.3%) for 1,522 yards and 22 TDs while rushing for 886 yards and 16 TDs for 5A state champs... Tennessee's Gatorade Player of the Year, First Team All-State QB, Region Offensive Player of the Year and finalist for 5A Mr. Football Back of the Year Award as senior... As junior, threw for 1,804 yards and 21 TDs... As starting QB, team went 29-1 and won two state titles... Participated in National Elite 11 QB Camp last summer... Named All-County as hoops standout... Also lettered in basketball and track & field... High academic achiever, Maryville Scholar recipient as junior.
