Mason pleased with energy at first practice

Coppet saw limited action in his second year on campus... Played in the team's final four games, primarily on special teams... First collegiate action came in win over Western Kentucky... Did not register a defensive stat.

Coppet did not play as a first-year defensive player, but missed the last month of action due to injury... Early in the year, contributed as a cornerback-safety on defensive scout teams.

Senior captain... Starting cornerback for one of nation’s most respected programs... Helped powerful South Florida school to 2015 7A state title... As senior, contributed 96 total tackles, 37 solo stops, and four interceptions, returning one for a score, in 13-1 campaign... Named to 7A First Team All-State unit... Invited to play in Dade vs. Broward All-Star Game... Also played important role in secondary for St. Thomas Aquinas’ run to the 2014 state championship.
