Cochran spent much of the regular season working as a reserve offensive tackle after preseason injury to Andrew Jelks, but never saw action in a game... Impressed coaches with athleticism and agility as an offensive scout lineman.
Three-year letterwinner on offensive line for one of Atlanta’s top private schools... Two-year starter at OT... As senior, registered more than 50 pancake blocks, leading 12-2 GAC squad to Class AA state semifinals... Did not allow single QB sack for team that attempted 288 passes... Earned postseason First Team All-State honors from Atlanta Journal-Constitution and state sportswriters as well as All-Gwinnett County recognition... Helped GAC to 14-1 mark and AA state championship game as junior... Played in Elite Junior Classic after 2014 campaign... Placed as thrower at state track meet as junior... High academic achiever.
