CATHEDRAL COACH KEVIN PEARSON
"You hear a lot of stories about players who are the first guys on the field and the last ones to leave -- well, that's Ladarius. He's full speed all the time, every drill, every route. And he makes other players around him better.
"I watched him when he was on the freshmen team (during preseason) and he was just dominating (everyone) as a running back. So we ended up moving him to varsity as receiver and he played some on defense, too. He's a great football player.
"He doesn't say a lot, but he's a character kid. He never misses class or practice. I've never heard him put a kid down. His mom is very dedicated to her faith, and so is Ladarius."
