JOHN BURROUGHS COACH KEITH KNOOP
"We are talking about a remarkable guy. It was a pleasure coaching Hawk and a pleasure being around him.
"Hawk emailed me on a Friday saying he was moving to Burbank and showed up at my door Monday. We didn't give it much thought until we saw Hawk at practice. He quickly turned a lot of heads, including mine. His practice tempo and energy positively impacted our entire team.
"I'll never forget Hawk's first game. He just dominated a really good opponent, creating havoc from every direction.
"He's tough as nails and just loves to compete. He's so much more mature than most kids we deal with. Hawk's a 'Yes sir, No sir' guy. All the teachers fell in love with him."
