GAINESVILLE HEAD COACH JAMES THOMSON
"Ralph has meant the world to the Gainesville football team the last two years. Everything we achieved we did so because Ralph put the team on his back.

"I think Ralph is the most underrated running back in Florida. He has great speed, he's as explosive as anybody we played, and he's a bruiser out of the backfield.

"Ralph is an excellent student and has made straight A's throughout his four years. He's a team leader, a natural worker and just a pleasure to be around. Ralph will fit in just fine at Vanderbilt."
