HIGH SCHOOL Senior captain... Three-year varsity starter, playing DE and TE... As senior helped Lions to 9-3 record, district title and second round of Division II-A playoffs... Earned All-State and Commercial Appeal "Best of the Preps" recognition... Contributed 66 tackles, 8.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss on defense as senior, and added pair of TD catches on offense... Played in two postseason games, the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl and AutoZone Liberty Bowl All-Star Game... As junior, registered 12 sacks among 78 tackles for 9-3 team... "He's a vocal guy in a good way. It's one of those players who can bring the team together and isn't afraid to show emotion.

"Mack is blessed with tremendous upside. He's a year younger than most (seniors) and he's going to get bigger, faster and stronger. He'll be off the charts then."
