"Tre's an outstanding cover corner. Vanderbilt is getting a really good athlete, a kid with excellent ball skills and tremendous work ethic.

"Tre's greatest attribute as a corner is the ball skills. We left Tre on an island a bunch and he did a great job. He has that quick reaction and the hands you want in a corner. Even more than that, Tre has the mental toughness a good corner must have.

"Tre is one of those kids that others want to follow. We put a high value on work ethic here and Tre has earned the respect of everybody."
