Men's basketball coach at Lake Highland Prep is former Commodore standout Jeff Turner... Recent Commodore starters Kevin Joyce (LB) and Brian Stamper (OT) are Lake Highland grads.

LAKE HIGHLAND HEAD COACH TIM BORCKY  "Blake is the total package as an offensive tackle. He moves very well, is an excellent pass blocker and has the long arms and wing span you want.

"You don't make kids that are Blake's size. He's just a big, imposing guy, exactly what coaches are looking for in a left tackle.

"Blake didn't start playing football until his freshman year. You can't believe how much he has developed and grown as a football player over the last two years."
