As senior tackle, earned MVP honors posting 65 total tackles, 36 solo tackles and four QB sacks for 11-2 Raider squad that advanced to AAAA state quarterfinals... Named to Georgia's Top 75 seniors by Atlanta Journal-Constitution and first team All-Region as senior... Helped 2011 defense post five shutouts... Participated in Army All-American Combine as junior... Vice president of senior class... Member of business-oriented DECA Club.

PERSONAL  Ladarius Bernard Banks... "LB"... Son of Eddie and Tiffany Banks... Dad is entrepreneur; mom is nursing director... Has two younger siblings: a sister, Ladajah; and brother, Dallas... Enjoys public speaking... Eventually wants to pursue law career.

EAST PAULDING HEAD COACH JOHN REID  "LB played nose for us in a 3-4 defense, consistently faced double teams, never complained, and never wanted to come out. The main objective for most of the offenses we faced was to try to deal with him.

"LB is just a tremendous young man. We named him captain as a junior and I've never done that before. If our teachers were to vote on their favorite kid at the school, they'd vote for Ladarius. They absolutely love the kid."
