Hendersonville Head Coach Bruce Hatfield
"First of all, Joe has meant the world to our football program. He has been been an outstanding leader for our younger players. He's just a very mature young man, a guy that wants to do well, and has exceptional work habits.
"He can play on either side of the ball, but I can foresee Joe as an interior defensive lineman. He has that mentality and really likes that aspect of the game.
"Joe has the explosiveness, intensity and mindset to become an excellent player at the next level. He will be an outstanding representative for the Vanderbilt football player."
