Topped Pirates with 135 total tackles, six QB sacks and five forced fumbles as senior... Also posted five fumble recoveries, including one for a score... Two-time All-Area recipient... High academic achiever and member of National Honor Society.

"After starting two years at safety, Chase was really productive when we moved him to linebacker. He can really run and has excellent athleticism. As his senior tape began circulating, a lot of schools showed interest. He brings a rare blend of intelligence, speed and toughness to the field.
"He is definitely a SEC-caliber player, and a great prospect for the Vanderbilt coaches. Once Chase is in that college weight room environment, he is going to be much bigger."
