HIGH SCHOOL Standout two-way player for one of top private schools in Tennessee... Started at tight end since freshman year; started at defensive end and TE since junior campaign... As senior, helped Brentwood Academy to Division II semifinals and 8-5 record, contributing 35 tackles and five QB sacks as a defensive lineman and 10 receptions for 105 yards and 1 TD as a tight end... Named to Nashville Tennessean's "All-Dream Team" and All-State by state sports writers... As junior, posted 42 tackles and 12 QB sacks at DE... Started as post in basketball, and contributed to state title team as sophomore... Sprinter/thrower as three-year letterwinner in track & field, helping squad to three straight state titles.
