HIGH SCHOOL
Two-year captain for the Miners... Three-year starter at DT and OL... Used as RG on offense for triple option squad that topped the state in rushing yardage in 2006-07... Helped Park City to 8-3 record as senior and first round of 3A playoffs where Miners lost in closing seconds on punt return for TD... Posted 82 tackles and six QB sacks as senior... Named first team All-State OL as senior by Deseret Morning News after earning first team All-State DL honors as junior from Salt Lake Tribune... Contributed 49 tackles, two QB sacks and a TD as senior DT, helping Miners to 10-1 overall record and state playoffs... Played varsity baseball early in prep career.

"Colton's a big, strong kid. He's a guy that absolutely lives in the weightroom.
"He's very explosive off the ball, gets great leverage, and has tremendous feet for a lineman. One of his strengths is the ability to turn and move laterally."
