HIGH SCHOOL
Two-year captain... Two-year starter at WR and DB for central Florida school located between Orlando and Ocala... First year of prep football came as junior, helping squad to 19-6 overall record and pair of state playoff appearances... In 2007, posted 32 receptions for 610 yards and eight TDs... As DB, contributed 39 total tackles and four INTs... As punt returner, averaged 9.8 yards with one TD...Named 3A Second Team All-State and All-Central Florida by Orlando Sentinel as senior... Topped state as junior with school-record 12 INTs... Also contributed 49 total tackles and 10 receptions in 2006... One of region's top hoops players, having started at guard for four years... District high jump champ with 6'4" PR... National Honor Society member... High school student ambassador.

Akeem Donte Dunham... Son of Sidney and Cynthia Dunham... Had an older sister, Tequila Hepburn, and younger brother, Jabari... Dad serves as Eustis' Manager of Recreation; mom is teacher/coach at Eustis Middle School... Several relatives, includes both parents and sister, earned degrees at Florida A&M where campus gymnasium is named in honor of grandfather... Named county's African-American Male Youth of the Year... Top athletic highlight is from AAU hoops - playing head-to-head against No. 1 2007 prep player (current Southern Cal freshman guard O.J. Mayo) with Michael Jordan in the crowd.
EUSTIS DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR BILL LARKIN
"Akeem's really only been playing high school football for two years. The strides he made from last year to this year were just tremendous. He's also a natural leader.
"He's a big kid with unique athleticism. Akeem is a 6'3" guy who has 4.4-4.5 speed and incredible leaping ability.
"People still think of him as a basketball player. He's played varsity all four years, even traveled the nation with the All-Florida NIKE team. In football, he's still a diamond in the rough. He's going to be something else."
