"John's a good one, a very good one. He put up some incredible receiving numbers, but if not for some blowouts, his stats would be astronomical.
"We're talking about a guy with speed. He's a 4.4 kid. But it's the other things that make John special - his hands, how well he puts a foot in the ground and gets into a route, and his physical nature that makes it tough for guys to press him.
"John competes for the ball. When the ball is in the air, John thinks it's his. He just goes and gets it.
"The best thing about John is that he's a better young man off the field than he is on it. He's an outstanding young person."
