    "Michael is a very bright kid who is able to translate that to the football field. He's a guy that does a great job recognizing defensive schemes and alignments.

    "He is a big, physical player, but Michael's biggest asset is his feet and natural quickness. He has as good of feet as any player I've coached. You can see it by the way he handles himself on the basketball court. We run a lot of zone (blocking) schemes. If I ran more of an I-formation, he'd be my tight end because of how well he moves."
