The Commodores return to the floor after their longest break of the 2013-14 season when they take on Austin Peay Tuesday night at Memorial Gym. The game will tip off at 8 p.m. CT, and the action can be seen live on CSS and heard on the Vanderbilt IMG College Radio Network in middle Tennessee and online at

Vanderbilt's last outing came against Marshall on December 5, a game the Commodores won, 69-67, behind a pair of 15-point performances by junior James Siakam and freshman Damian Jones.  The Commodores led the whole night, but the Thundering Herd had a chance to tie or take the lead with nine seconds remaining, but Siakam made an outstanding defensive play as the buzzer sounded to give Vanderbilt the win.  Rod Odom also scored 11 points.

Tuesday's meeting will be the 15th between the two schools, with the last meeting coming in an 81-67 Commodore win on November 10, 2007.  It will be the 13th meeting between the two schools in Nashville.
