Stallings One Away From Matching Roy Skinner's Memorial Gym Win Mark Coach Stallings is one win away from tying and two wins away from becoming the all-time wins leader at Memorial Gym. Stallings sits at 180 wins, with Vanderbilt legend Roy Skinner leading the way with 181 career Memorial Gym wins. Back to Back W's Vanderbilt won its second consecutive game in a 71-46 win over Alabama A&M on Saturday night at Memorial Gym, the Commodores’ first two-game streak of the season. VU tied its season-best field-goal percentage against the Bulldogs, shooting 51% from the floor. Home Sweet Home After playing only two home games in the first month of the season, the Commodores will not leave the city of Nashville until a road SEC contest at Arkansas on January 12. Beginning with Saturday's game against Alabama A&M, Vanderbilt will play its next six games in Nashville - five games at Memorial Gym, and one at Bridgestone Arena on December 21 against Middle Tennessee State. Dai-Jon Parker Returns Guard Dai-Jon Parker returns from an eight-game suspension Monday vs. Cornell. Parker played in all 36 games last year, averaged 1.7 points per game. The Commodores rank second only to UNLV for the longest streak in Division I basketball. Vanderbilt, UNLV and Princeton are the only three schools in college basketball to have made at least one 3-pointer in every game played since the 3-point line was implemented.
