The Commodores return to the friendly confines of Memorial Gym for the first time since November 15 when they take on Conference USA member Marshall in a non-conference tilt.  The game will tip off at 7 p.m. CT, and the action can be heard live on the Vanderbilt IMG College Radio Network in middle Tennessee and online at vucommodores.com.  There is no TV slated for the contest.

Vanderbilt and Marshall will play for the first time on the hardwood when they meet Thursday.

In their last time out, the Commodores dropped a 70-64 decision on Monday night at Texas as a part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.  The Commodores' only lead of the game came at 2-0, but Vanderbilt had chances to tie late in the contest but saw some prime opportunities slip away.  Vanderbilt shot 37.9% from the floor against the Longhorns, the first time this year the Commodores have shot less than 45% from the field.  Austin native Eric McClellan led the team with 22 points, Josh Henderson had 12, and Rod Odom tallied 11 points.
