SEC releases 2015 MBB schedule

The SEC released the 2015 men’s basketball schedule on Friday, and the Commodores will be featured prominently on the ESPN family of networks five times and the SEC Network 10 times, with home games scheduled against Florida on Super Tuesday, LSU, Tennessee, and Missouri.
The Commodores will play Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi State, Florida, and Alabama twice in home and home series for the 2015 season.
Also playing at Memorial Gym in 2015 is Auburn, LSU, South Carolina, and Missouri. On the road, the Commodores will face Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss.
Vanderbilt hosts Auburn in its SEC opener on January 6th as the Commodores welcome former Tennessee head coach and current Tiger coach Bruce Pearl back to the SEC. That game will tip off at 8 p.m. CT and will air on ESPNU.
Five of the next seven games will be on the road, with Vanderbilt taking trips to Arkansas on January 10 (Time TBA, SEC Network), Mississippi State on January 17 (Time TBA, FSN), Kentucky on January 20 (8 p.m., SEC Network), Georgia on January 27 (6 p.m., SEC Network), and Texas A&M on January 31 (Time TBA, SEC Network). Home games with Georgia on January 14 (8 p.m., SEC Network) and LSU on January 24 (TBA, ESPNU) are sandwiched between the five road contests.
After the game against Texas A&M on January 31, the Commodores will play three consecutive home contests - Florida on February 3 (8 p.m., ESPN), South Carolina on February 7 (Time TBA, FSN), and Tennessee (8 p.m., SEC Network) – to start the month of February. Three of the next four games will be on the road, with contests scheduled at Alabama on February 14 (8 p.m., ESPNU), at Florida on February 18 (6 p.m., SEC Network), and at Tennessee on February 25 (6 p.m., ESPN/ESPN2). The Commodores will take on Missouri in the midst of that three-game road swing on February 21 (Time TBA, SEC Network).
The Commodores close the season with home contests against Alabama on February 28 (TBA, FSN) and against Mississippi State on March 4 (Time TBA, SEC Network), and then travel to Ole Miss to wrap up the regular season in Oxford on March 7 (Time TBA, SEC Network).
The SEC Tournament will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville March 11-15. Those games will be broadcast on the SEC Network and the ESPN family of networks.
