The #10-seed Vanderbilt Commodores will take on the #7-seed Arkansas Razorbacks in the second round of the 2013 SEC Tournament at Bridgestone Arena at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
Both teams split two meetings this season, with each winning on their home floor (1/12, at Arkansas, Arkansas won 56-33; 2/9, at Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt won 67-49).. Arkansas leads the all-time series 18-10, including a 10-2 advantage in Fayetteville and a 3-0 lead at neutral sites, all at the SEC Tournament. Vanderbilt leads the series in Nashville, 8-5. The Razorbacks defeated Vanderbilt in the 2008 SEC Quarterfinals, 81-65 in their last tournament meeting.
The winner of the Thursday night game will play #2 Kentucky at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night in the quarterfinals.
