Playing the nation's No. 1 team is nothing new to the Commodores. Vanderbilt is 8-16 al-time against teams ranked No. 1. In their last game against the No. 1 team, Vanderbilt defeated Kentucky, 71-64, to claim the 2012 SEC Tournament.

The game itself will be pivotal for both teams jostling for position in the SEC standings with just two games remaining in the regular season.

Vanderbilt and Florida are 7-7 overall and are tied with LSU for fifth in the conference. The pack is one game behind Kentucky and one game ahead of Auburn, Alabama and Georgia. The Commodores close the regular season at Kentucky Sunday.
