Fans encouraged to wear gold and arrive early to Memorial Gym

Wear Gold on Saturday vs. Kentucky In an effort to create the best home court advantage possible, Commodore fans who are attending the men's basketball game vs. Kentucky on February 20th are encouraged to wear gold to the game to support the team. A loud, vocal Memorial Gym crowd is what will be needed as the Wildcats come to town on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT but fans are encouraged to arrive early as crowds and traffic are expected to be very heavy on game day. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
Traffic Alert - Street Closure on Saturday due to Baseball Game Fans attending the Kentucky basketball game (5 p.m.) should also be aware that Jess Neely Drive will be closed to vehicle traffic on Saturday because of the baseball game vs. Niagara (1 p.m.). Access to the 25th Ave. parking garage will not be available via Jess Neely Drive. Jess Neely Drive will be closed between Natchez Trace and 25th Ave. Again, fans are encouraged to arrive to Memorial Gym as early as possible to avoid traffic delays.
Marine Corps Chin-up Challenge Stop by the Marines display in the southeast entrance of Memorial Gym to take part in this head-to-head battle. Help the Commodores defeat the Wildcats and claim victory in the Chin-Up Challenge! The winning fan base will be recognized and receive a trophy on the court!
