Vanderbilt Head Coach Kevin Stallings
Opening Comments:
“I was really proud of my team, (Cornell) is a really well coached team. We got Kedren (Johnson) into foul trouble and lost our rhythm. They (Cornell) really closed the gap in the second half, but it was a hard fought win.

“Kyle made some big plays and a game like this will help Dai-Jon (Parker) get back in the flow. I thought our transition defense was great. We did a great job guarding the three.”

On Kyle Fuller:
“Kyle gave us very good minutes. He was a steadying influence and he only had two turnovers in 35 minutes of play. Kyle is real solid.”

On if the three-point shot is going to be the identity for the team:
“Hopefully holding a team to 30 percent shooting in order to win (will be our identity). Our identity better be defending. We only took six three-point shots in the second half.”

On low free throw percentage:
“I am concerned about our foul shooting, it is a little bothersome because it has happened in too many games in a row, and we need to get it rectified.”

On Kendren Johnson's foul trouble:
“I thought there were some really carless fouls. I am not overly happy with those. We played without our best player for 22 minutes. The other guys stepped up and made the plays. He only missed his last shot, he was on fire. I was really hoping to get about Dai-Jon 15-20 minutes."

Vanderbilt guard Kyle Fuller
On playing a lot of minutes because of Kedren Johnson's foul trouble:
"I was just trying to do whatever I could just to help the team win."

"The moment Kedren went out, he kept motivating me, telling me to keep fighting. He's a great teammate."

On the lead getting cut down to two points:
"Let's not lose this game we are trying to go home on a four game win streak lets focus and buckle down."

Vanderbilt guard Dai-Jon Parker
On being thrown right into it:
"This heavy load the first game back is only going to help me. Moving forward from here, it's not going to get any lighter."

Vanderbilt forward Rod Odom
On the five point play with Kyle Fuller:
"I think it was big. Kyle set a great screen and my man got caught behind it. I told Kyle when you make great plays for your teammates it comes back around and he was able to get two free throws as well."
