The win makes Vanderbilt 28-24 all-time versus South Carolina. Head Coach Kevin Stallings is 15-13 all-time versus the Gamecocks. Stallings is now 275-175 at Vanderbilt and 398-238 overall.
Vanderbilt swept the season series with South Carolina. The Commodores defeated USC in Columbia, 58-51 in January 19.
Vanderbilt made a three-pointer for the 862nd game in a row, which ranks second in the nation behind UNLV. VU has made a three in every game since the line's inception in the 1986-87 season.
Three Commodores scored in double-figures, which marks the 15th time this season that has occurred.
Rod Odom scored 18 points, marking the 13th time this season he has scored 10 or more points. Odom scored 12 of the team's final 14 points of the first half.
Vanderbilt clinched the #10 seed in the 2013 SEC Tournament with the victory. Their opponent is still to be determined.

The Commodores shot 45.8% from the floor, and 82.1% from the charity stripe in the win.
