General Summary:
Advised to give up athletic playing career at Vanderbilt following diagnosis of enlarged heart condition known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Suffered cardiac arrest during a practice session on March 6, 2006, but was revived by Vanderbilt athletic trainer Mike Meyer, who administered one shock from an automated external defibrillator (AED) and two rescue breaths.
2005-06 (R-Freshman):
Played in 23 games without a start, averaging 8.2 minutes... Grabbed five rebounds against IUPUI (12/22)... Scored his first collegiate basket against UNC Greensboro (11/22)... Scored his first SEC basket at Tennessee (2/1).
