2011-12: Dan Cage is entering his first season as the assistant director of basketball operations with Vanderbilt basketball. Cage is no stranger to the Commodore program, however. He earned four letters from 2003-07 and helped lead VU to two Sweet 16 appearances in 2004 and 2007. Cage played in 125 games in his four-year career, started 32, and in his senior season averaged 11.2 ppg. Cage played in Europe for four seasons after graduating with an undergraduate degree in economics in May of 2007. He played in Germany (TBB-Trier) in 2007-08, France (JSF Nanterre) and Spain (Caceres) in 2008-09 and 2009-10 (CB Canarias). Dan married his long time girlfriend from Indianapolis, Ind., Anna Pizzi in August of 2009. The couple resides in Nashville. |
