The rosters for Vanderbilt's annual Black & Gold series are set as the two teams prepare for Thursday night's opener at Hawkins Field.
Seniors Connor Harrell and Andrew Harris will lead the Gold team as captains against Black team captains and seniors Mike Yastrzemski and Jack Lupo. The Commodores' new hitting coach Travis Jewett will coach the black team along with honorary bench coach and team equipment manager Garrett Walker. Dores' volunteer assistant coach Larry Day and honorary bench coach/former Commodore Drew Fann will coach the Gold team. Sophomores Adam Ravenelle, Brian Miller and Chris Harvey along with freshman Walker Buehler will miss this weekend's series.
The two squads will play Thursday and Friday night at 6:30 p.m. before wrapping up the series on Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission to all three games is free.
